Why use cookies?
Cookies are data that are stored in the user’s browser with information about their behavior on the Internet. There are many types of cookies:
Own cookies: that your website sends to the user’s browser.
Third-party cookies: sent by another entity through your website to the user’s browser.
Technical cookies: that allow navigation.
Personalization cookies: that allow the browser to remember user preferences (such as language, for example).
Analysis or measurement cookies: that allow monitoring and analysis (Google Analytics).
Advertising cookies: which store information to create a profile of user behavior and offer ads.
Session cookies: active only for the duration of the session.
Persistent cookies: which have a specific expiration established by the person responsible for the cookie.

What is the new RGPD Cookie Law?
The new RGPD Cookies Law obliges website owners to be transparent with the use of Cookies and to obtain the user’s consent. In other words, it is no longer enough to inform, but the person who browses your website must expressly accept the use of cookies (opt in) and it is no longer enough to close the popup (opt out). In addition, you should be able to decide at any time which cookies are stored in your browser.
On the other hand, although there are some cookies that are exempt from compliance with the law (such as technical ones, for example), the guide always recommends informing with a text such as “This website uses cookies that allow the operation and provision of our services”.
